Running back is joined by backfield mate Trayone Gray on the list.
Cleveland Browns fans have been waiting for months to see running back Kareem Hunt in action.
Now they will have to wait at least a few more days after Hunt was placed on the active/non-football injury list on the eve of the opening of training camp.

Hunt, who is dealing with a groin injury, will have company on the sidelines as fellow running back Trayone Gray is also on the list with a calf injury.
Head coach Freddie Kitchens said Hunt and Gray are among a “handful of players” who are working through minor injuries, none of whom are expected to miss any major team, according to the team’s website.
Being on the sidelines should be good practice for Hunt as he will miss the first eight games of the regular season while serving an NFL-mandated suspension.
