The first injury news of the season has hit, as Raiders fullback Keith Smith will be out of action for a bit, according to Ian Rapoport:
A hit to the #Raiders backfield: Fullback Keith Smith suffered a knee injury while training and will be out a few weeks to begin training camp, sources say. They may sign a FB as he recovers.

The injury apparently occurred while Smith was training on his own and preparing to come into camp, which opens in Napa this week for the final time. The Raiders could bring in a fullback to fill the spot vacated temporarily by Smith, but this will surely mean greater opportunities for undrafted Wisconsin fullback Alec Ingold.
Smith’s injury was likely a sprain judging by the supposed recovery time, making it unlikely that he misses any regular season games. It is unlikely he shows up on Hard Knocks, unless he’s getting treatment or working on the side.
