Weekend Open Thread
Good Morning!
What’s on tap for you this weekend? #dadjoke. I’m working this weekend but that doesn’t stop the fun here or outside. Speaking of outside, if you’re in the path of Barry, stay safe. To finish a discussion on the thread during the week, there is a difference in the thickness of myelin sheath between the PNS and CNS, however I could not find a good reference that listed the variance. Anyway, what’s on your weekend schedule? Today’s lead picture is of course future Vikings QB Kyle Sloter who begins his conquest for the #2 spot in less than two weeks. Meanwhile, we’ll catch up on our NFC North opponents and then carry on with our news and links thread full of beer recommendations, nap strategies, crock pot and smoker recipes. Drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and stop in at Remedy Brewing Co and have a beer, it’s the weekend!

League news:
Consistent with the weekend news and links I’ll post the rest of the league news in the comments.
We come to today’s media selection: AC/DC - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waiter, try the sunshine and Welcome Aboard.
