2019 marks the ninth time Aaron Rodgers has made NFL Network’s annual list of the top 100 players and the seventh time he landed within the top 10.
As expected, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers made the cut NFL Network’s list of the top 100 players for 2019. The two-time MVP quarterback came in eighth, an improvement of two spots from the previous year.
Though Rodgers comes off one of his most disappointing seasons as a starting quarterback, he remains one of the NFL’s top signal-callers. He threw just two picks over 16 starts and posted an interception rate of just 0.34 percent, easily the lowest mark of any player with at least 50 pass attempts. Rodgers also threw for over 4,000 yards for a Packers record sixth time.
Rodgers has made every edition to date of the annual player ranking. His best finishes came in 2012 (first) and ‘15 (second), both directly following his MVP seasons. Only twice has he missed the top 10, the most recent occasion coming after his injury-shortened 2013 season.
With Rodgers on the board, the Packers have (and will likely finish with) three players included in 2019’s list. All-Pro left tackle David Bakhtiari finished this year at No. 43 and Pro Bowl wide receiver Davante Adams ranked at No. 35.
