With their first preseason contest just a few days away, the Los Angeles Chargers have released their first unofficial depth chart of the 2019 season. Unsurprisingly, there are some relatively interesting choices at the moment.

As Eric Williams of ESPN notes in his tweet, Austin Ekeler has gotten the nod at RB1 over Justin Jackson. Rayshawn Jenkins is still the top choice at free safety, and Ty Long is leading the way at punter.
Forrest Lamp still is not starting despite running with the first team as left guard during the joint practice with the Los Angeles Rams. He’s not even listed at left guard. He is apparently the backup at right guard.
Somehow, Cardale Jones is still the third-string quarterback despite continuing to get worse each year and Easton Stick theoretically drafted to take his place.
On the defensive side of the ball, your starting linebackers are Thomas Davis, Denzel Perryman and Uchenna Nwosu. Kyzir White could push for a starting spot, but for now he’s on the outside looking in. Nick Dzubnar apparently is still the backup Mike behind Perryman.
There is almost certainly a lot of movement still to come, but for now, relatively few players appear to have lost their starting spots from a year ago.
