The Arizona Cardinals have announced seven players they have signed to their practice squad.
Quarterback Drew Anderson
Linebacker Dante Booker
Cornerback Nate Brooks
Tight end Darrell Daniels
Linebacker Vontarrius Dora
Wide receiver A.J. Richardson
Tight end Caleb Wilson
All seven were released yesterday in the Cardinals final roster cut to 53.
It has also been reported by... Kyle Sloter, that the Arizona Cardinals will have former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kyle Sloter on the practice squad.
This is not exactly foreign territory.
The team had two practice squad quarterbacks years ago when they had Zac Dysart and Aaron Murray both in as quarterbacks on the practice. It didn’t last long, but it is not completely out of the norm.
The interesting thing is where will the last two spots, if the Cardinals truly bring in Sloter, will come from.
Have they extended offers to players and they are just waiting to hear back?
We shall see soon enough, but the initial practice squad is full of intriguing prospects.
