So vote for him already!
While getting our Game Ball for his Week 2 performance is probably pretty cool, Minnesota Vikings’ running back Dalvin Cook could end up getting an even more prestigious honor.
Cook is one of three nominees for the Week 2 FedEx Ground Player of the Week Award.
Cook rushed for 154 yards and a touchdown in Sunday’s 21-16 loss to the Green Bay Packers. That total included an outstanding 75-yard run that gave the Vikings their first points of the afternoon.

His competition. . .if you can even refer to it as that. . .is Packers’ running back Aaron Jones (116 yards, 1 TD) and Dallas Cowboys’ running back Ezekiel Elliott (111 yards, 1 TD).
Cook was also nominated for the Ground Player of the Week Award for his Week 1 performance, but lost to Indianapolis Colts’ running back Marlon Mack.
You can vote for Cook by either going to the link above, or by voting via the Twitters.

Read the replies to the tweet if you want some solid laughs, including a whole litany of morons that lead off their argument with “WELL IF YOU TAKE AWAY THE 75-YARD TOUCHDOWN. . .”
Yeah, you kind of don’t get to do that.
So, everyone head on over in some way, shape, or form and cast your vote for Dalvin Cook for the Week 2 FedEx Ground Player of the Week!
