Dobbins runs rampant while Quincy Roche wreaks havoc
Last Saturday was a slightly underwhelming slate of college games, but that doesn’t mean it lacked big performances by draft eligible players. Across the whole weekend, prospects had notable performances from coast to coast. However few were as eye catching JK Dobbins dismantling Indiana and Quincy Roche propelling Temple to upset Maryland.
JK Dobbins has been a workhorse for Ohio State this season. The junior runner has 60 carries through three games, averaging over seven yards a pop and scoring four touchdowns on the ground. Dobbins turned in his best performance against Indiana on Saturday where he carried the ball 22 times for over 190 yards, scoring a touchdown on the ground and adding another one receiving.

Dobbins is not prototypical from a size perspective, but he is a tough back with very good athleticism. His production to this point has been outstanding and he could continue to make a case for himself in a loaded running back class.
While Ohio State running over Indiana was to be expected, Temple beating a ranked Maryland squad was certainly not in the cards. Or not supposed to be until Quincy Roche had something to say about it.
The junior speed rusher was entire too much to handle for Maryland on Saturday. He was in the backfield on what felt like every passing down, picking up a sack in the process. The box score doesn’t nearly do his disruptive game justice, however. His play unnerved the Maryland passing game and made an upset possible.
Roche, who could be considered undersized (Listed at 6-4, 235), has a long way to go to assert himself as a top prospect. However turning in performances like this on a weekly basis should get people to overlook any concern about his weight.
