The Arizona Cardinals special teams is going to take a definite step back on Sunday.
Their three leaders, Dennis Gardeck, Ezekiel Turner and Charles Washington will be out on Sunday. Washington has been out for the last three games, but now we are seeing the top two special teamers down as well. This is definitely something to watch.
Then of course there is the bevy of questionable players.
Zach Allen, Terrell Suggs, Haason Reddick and newly acquired Trevor Williams all questionable on defense.
Offensively, you have two of the top three wide receivers in Christian Kirk and Damiere Byrd, then the big one, David Johnson all questionable.
This is a huge deal. The Cardinals offense is improving but I’m not sure they can take this type of of injury problems.
The one potential reason for some hope is the Falcons defense is completely in shambles in the secondary.
Obviously they lost newly acquired Jonathan Cyprien after only one game, after losing Keanu Neal earlier this year for the season.
Now, they’ll be without their top cornerback in Desmond Trufant and one of their top backups in Blidi Wreh-Wilson.
This could be something to watch, good or bad.
