Falcons injury report: Julio Jones and Desmond Trufant held out of Wednesday’s practice

Fact: Julio Jones’ falsetto is slightly above-average

The Falcons will face off against the Cardinals Sunday afternoon in what many think is the most winnable game left on their schedule. Dan Quinn’s squad will need to come into the game clicking on all cylinders, especially after Kyler Murray and company put up over 500 yards of total offense last week. A big part of that equation is their ability to field a healthy team.

And that said, it’s Wednesday, which means the latest injury report is out.

The good news is that right guard Jamon Brown was a full participant in practice during Wednesday’s practice. Brown hasn’t played since he sustained a concussion in the Week 4 loss to the Titans. And while Wes Schweitzer has filled in admirably in his absence, getting Brown back will bolster a unit that’s been a little banged up of late.

Damontae Kazee (concussion), Kenjon Barner (knee), and Alex Mack (elbow) were all limited participants in today’s practice. Barner has struggled to stay healthy this season and it’s not clear if he will good to go by Sunday.

Julio Jones (hip), Matt Wile (quad), Desmond Trufant (toe), and Blidi Wreh-Wilson (groin) were all held out of today’s practice. I guess we know now why the Falcons signed a punter to their practice squad yesterday.

For what it’s worth, the Cardinals are banged up too. They held 8 players out of practice and another 5 players were limited.
