How do your Big Blue View contributors see Sunday’s New York Giants vs. Arizona Cardinals game working out? Not well for the Giants. Read on to find out why.

The Giants have an opportunity to get their season back on track with a winnable game against the Arizona Cardinals. Their offense should look better than in recent weeks as they get both Evan Engram and Saquon Barkley back from injury in time to face one of the worst defenses in the NFL.
Of course, there’s the possibility that Patrick Peterson’s return helps stabilize Arizona’s young secondary, and neither Chandler Jones nor Terrell Suggs should be overlooked.
Arizona does boast one of the better offenses in the NFL with an uncommon scheme and a wildcard of a rookie quarterback. They will likely stress the Giants’ defense — and secondary in particular — in ways they haven’t been attacked yet.
Ultimately, however, I think the Giants’ offense will be able to play (much) more effectively than in the last two weeks and the defensive line will be able to control the game enough that the Giants are able to outlast Arizona’s high-powered offense.
Pick: Giants 27, Cardinals 24

After a gruesome two games against elite defenses, the Giants can finally have a productive day. The Cardinals defense is very young, and prone to giving up a ton of yards and points to opposing offenses. With Saquon Barkley and Evan Engram are back, Daniel Jones will have an easy day against a defense that has no interceptions.
This game is primed to be a shootout. You can expect a lot of points from both teams, with the Giants having the final edge.
Pick: Giants 38, Cardinals 31

This week gives us the chance to see two rookie quarterbacks squaring off, as well as the return of Saquon Barkley to the fold. Thinking about this game, I believe we will finally see what Pat Shurmur has in mind for this offense, with Barkley and Jones in the lineup as well as Evan Engram. I’m anticipation Jones and his athleticism playing more of a role. There should be points, and I think the Giants come out on top in this one.
Pick: Giants 35 Cardinals 31

This is a really interesting and fun game featuring the top two quarterbacks drafted from this last class. The Giants return high end offensive talent around Daniel Jones, but the Cardinals get Patrick Peterson back from suspension. Evan Engram should put up monster numbers and there should be fireworks overall. I am leaning towards Kyler Murray slightly over Jones right now in a very memorable game.
Pick: Arizona 35, New York 32

The Giants enter this week as three-point favorites over the Cardinals in a matchup of two exciting rookie quarterbacks. Kyler Murray has created a lot of momentum the past two weeks with a 26-23 win over Cincinnati and a 34-33 victory over the Falcons. That being said, I think that Daniel Jones will be able to edge his way past the young Arizona defense. Jones and head coach Pat Shumur have been preaching consistency this past week and I think that Jones will finally be able to find some balance at home against the Cardinals this weekend.
Pick: Giants 27, Cardinals 21

I get the feeling that Kyler Murray is going to continue growing as a quarterback this year and this game will be an example. It also helps that he’ll face the league’s second-worst pass defense in the Giants.
Luckily for the Giants, the Cardinals’ defense is also similarly poor this year. Arizona is giving up a hearty 132 rush yards per game to opposing offenses, and that should bode well for Saquon Barkley as he comes back from injury. In fact, all those injury woes that the Giants had last week might have vanished by Sunday as wide receiver Sterling Shepard, running back Wayne Gallman and defensive lineman Olsen Pierre were working during the stretching and individual phases of practices open to media.
My prediction? It’ll be a tight, fun game to watch for fans with Arizona narrowly taking it.
Pick: Cardinals 30, Giants 28

This one is sooooo hard for me to pick. There are reasons to feel really good about the Giants, like having Saquon Barkley and Evan Engram back and the defensive improvement we saw vs. the New England Patriots. There are reasons to worry, like not really knowing for sure how the Giants will handle the unique offense they will see from the Cardinals.
This one could be a high-scoring game and in the end I guess I will err on the side of being optimistic.
Pick: Giants 34, Cardinals 30
