New York Jets safety Jamal Adams is clarifying his stance with the team. Adams did not hide his displeasure when it became clear that the Jets engaged in trade talks about him before Tuesday’s deadline. Adams made clear that his major sticking point was that he’d been told he would not be moved days before the Jets discussed doing just that. He did, however, clarify that he was moving past the issue and ready to play. Adams has a job to do and he’s going to do it. He may be over it, but as of Wednesday, he still wasn’t interested in speaking to GM Joe Douglas about what happened. Fundamentally, it may be that he’s ready to play, but not ready to forgive.
