A battle of struggling AFC teams caps off Week 8.
Monday Night Football has an incredible history of showcasing the best that the NFL has to offer, with plenty of classics having occurred under the Monday night lights.
Tonight’s game probably won’t be one of those.
The paltry Pittsburgh Steelers host the putrid Miami Dolphins in a match up that has me more excited to watch paint dry. Still, football is football.
The Steelers enter tonight’s game with a disappointing record of 2-4. After missing their previous game with a concussion, quarterback Mason Rudolph will return to the starting lineup for a team that is struggling to find success on offense. James Conner has been the workhorse, though he has topped 50 rushing yards just once this season. He has been a far more effective pass catcher, with he and JuJu Smith-Schuster being Rudolph’s primary outlets.
There is really nothing left to be said about the Miami Dolphins. The Fish Tank is in full effect, with Kenyan Drake being the latest player shipped off for picks. They have scored 63 points in six games. The offense is bad. The defense is bad. This is a team that would give the 0-16 Lions a run for their money as worst team in history.
