It’s Monday night, which of course means Monday Night Football. The game tonight is a divisional rivalry game between the 1-4 Jets and the 6-0 New England Patriots. Not exactly a blockbuster match up, but the Jets are a much better team with their starter Sam Darnold playing than what they were without him.
The Jets are actually coming off of their first victory of the year too with their stunning defeat of the Dallas Cowboys. What are the chances they can get a second surprise upset in a row? Obviously not very good, but on the other hand they are known to be a bit of a thorn in their divisonal rival’s side.
That’s probably giving them too much credit though, the New England Patriots are a dynasty that has very little trouble from their divisional opponents during the Belichick/Brady era overall. Still, you never know what could happen on the football team. As the famous saying goes, that’s why they play the game!
Chat here with your fellow Raiders fans while basically the entirety of Raider Nation roots for the surprise upset of the much hated Patriots. Either way, it’s a chance to watch a future opponent in action as the Raiders will be playing the Jets in Week 12 in New York.
