What a day for Los Angeles
It’s been a day for trades. The Los Angeles Rams unloaded Marcus Peters early Tuesday afternoon. The Rams also traded for a center in Austin Corbett from the Browns. That’s not the biggest deal today.
Adam Schefter reported that the Rams traded two first-round picks in 2020 and 2021, as well as a fourth-round pick in 2021 to the Jaguars for Jalen Ramsey. The Rams needed help on the offensive line, so they traded for one of the best cornerbacks in the game. Ramsey will make a difference, but I’m not sure how he improves the Rams today. Go back to Sunday and ask yourself where Ramsey would have helped the Rams win. Maybe he can throw?
At 3-3, the Rams can’t afford to drop many more games, or else they’ll find themselves out of playoff contention. It’s a steep price to pay, and you have to imagine there’s some sort of extension being worked out. What do you think of the deal?
