Thursday Night Football open thread: Rams at Seahawks

This should be an exciting affair between NFC West rivals.

An amazing thing happened last week: we had entertaining Thursday Night Football! The Eagles and Packers exchanged fireworks en route to a Eagles 34-27 victory, and tonight’s match could produce a similar exciting match.

The Seattle Seahawks play hosts to their division rivals Los Angeles Rams, and the two 3-1 teams will look to gain ground in a competitive NFC West. Both teams are playoff caliber squads with some extremely talented players. The Seahawks’ Russell Wilson is one of the league’s best quarterbacks, while the Rams have an elite running back in Todd Gurley. The Seahawks and Rams are similarly ranked in DVOA, so we should expect a close affair.

The Rams are coming off a barn burner of a game, losing 55-40 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while the Seahawks defeated the winless Arizona Cardinals 27-10.

This will be the first Thursday Night Football to be streamed on Twitch and Prime Video this season. For those of you unfamiliar with Twitch, you do not need an account to watch the game, but by creating an account, you can participate in the chat. Pride of Detroit has been doing a lot of Twitch streams recently, including a live PODcast, and we would highly recommend making an account so you can join in.

Let’s get Week 5 kicked off.
