The first game of Week 5 is here.
The New England Patriots will have to wait until Sunday to enter Week 5, when they go up against the Washington Redskins on the road to try to improve to 5-0. This means that fans can sit back and relax tonight, and watch two NFC West rivals go at each other on Thursday Night Football. Who should they root for, you might ask? Well, let’s take a look at the two contestants to find out:
Los Angeles Rams (3-1) at Seattle Seahawks (3-1)
When: 8:20 p.m. ET
Where: CenturyLink Field, Seattle WA
Television: FOX and NFL Network
Live streaming: fuboTV (sign up here)
SB Nation coverage: Turf Show Times (Rams); Field Gulls (Seahawks)
Patriots rooting guide: Go Rams? New England traded tight end Jacob Hollister to Seattle this offseason in return for a seventh-round pick in next year’s draft, so the pick becomes better the worse the Seahawks’ record is (in case they miss the playoffs that is). Given that this is the only true connection between the Patriots and this game, however, you don’t have to feel bad about rooting for the home team either.
