Vikings Wednesday Injury Report: Adam Thielen returns to practice

And the team is at, basically, full strength

We are at the midway point of the 2019 NFL season, and the injury report for the Minnesota Vikings going into their Week 9 battle with the Kansas City Chiefs is amazingly short. In fact, you can count all of the players that the Vikings listed on one hand and still have a couple of fingers left over.

The big news is that wide receiver Adam Thielen, who hasn’t been on the field since the end of the first quarter in Detroit in Week 7, returned to practice on Wednesday afternoon. Granted, it was in a “limited capacity,” which apparently means he took part in individual drills, but he was back practicing again.

With that update, here is the entire injury report:

Yes, outside of Thielen, the only players listed on the injury report for the Vikings are the team’s starting defensive tackle tandem. Both Linval Joseph and Shamar Stephen are dealing with knee issues, but nothing that stopped them from practicing in full.

Again, for a team that’s played half of their schedule, there aren’t a lot of significant injuries for the Vikings. Hopefully it will stay that way.
