The Jacksonville Jaguars offense can breathe a collective sigh of relief — they won’t be facing one of the best defenders on the Houston Texans.
JJ Watt confirmed tonight that he is out for the season with a reported torn pectoral injury. Watt left today’s game against the Oakland Raiders in the second quarter and was taken to the hospital for an MRI.
This game can be beautiful and it can also be brutal. Absolutely gutted that I won’t be able to finish the season with my guys and give the fans what they deserve. I truly love this game and can’t stand letting you guys down. Thank you for all of the thoughts & well-wishes.

While the Texans pass rush isn’t what it once was, they certainly got after Minshew in their first meeting, sacking him four times and forcing three fumbles in a 13-12 win in Week 2.
Watt is currently ranked second on the team with 4.0 sacks.
