While the story of Josh Shaw will certainly be the headline for most of the world, the Arizona Cardinals were doing a whole lot of good this week as well.
No one more so than veteran defensive tackle Corey Peters.
Peters on Tuesday teamed up with St. Vincent de Paul of Arizona to deliver food to students at South Pointe Elementary School in Phoenix.
This is the type of thing we love to celebrate from the Arizona Cardinals and their players.
This was not a team sponsored event, this was Corey Peters taking time out of his holiday and his money to help those that need it.
South Pointe is in a lower income area of Phoenix and 99% of it’s student base is from low-income families.
Corey is someone who has always been willing to give of himself to others and he is truly an Arizona Cardinal to be thankful for this time of year.
Happy Thanksgiving weekend one and all.
