Shanahan provided updates
The San Francisco 49ers ended practice a little over an hour ago and Kyle Shanahan provided some injury updates. The head coach ruled George Kittle out for Sunday’s game. He’s still battling an ankle/knee injury that prevented him from suiting up Monday night against the Seahawks. That’s a big loss, as Kittle dominated the Cardinals when the two teams faced a couple of weeks ago.
Joe Staley underwent surgery on his dislocated/fractured finger and is expected to miss a couple of games. Shanahan said that Justin Skule is “most likely” to replace Staley. Here is the injury report from Wednesday’s practice:
