Monday Night the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers will square off with the winner taking control of the NFC West in terms of positioning going forward. Both teams have dealt with injuries in recent weeks, and for the Seahawks Quinton Jefferson will be a welcome return to the lineup after missing the last couple games with an oblique injury.
In Jefferson’s absence the pass rush has been next to non-existent, and the Hawks can certainly use all the rush they can get when they face off against the last unbeaten team in the NFL. As Pete Carroll stated on Saturday, Jefferson is good to go against the Niners, and his return means that first round pick L.J. Collier is again inactive.
