Breaking all the records.
In a season which many would consider mediocre, and with a constantly changing group of starting skill players, Eagles’ quarterback Carson Wentz became the franchise’s first-ever 4,000 yard passer on Sunday in the 2019 season finale.

Heading into the Week 17 contest against the Giants — with the NFC East title on the line — Wentz needed just 250 passing yards to top the 4,000-yard mark and add his name to the Eagles’ record book. The Eagles had no wide receiver with over 500 yards this season, making Wentz’s accomplishment even more impressive ... because it’s the first time in NFL history that ever happened!
Wentz also set a new franchise record for single-season passing yards (passing 3,916 set by Donovan McNabb in 2008) and single-season completions.
Carson Wentz is making ridiculous throw after ridiculous throw. #FlyEaglesFly @cj_wentz

This is the first season since Wentz’s rookie year in 2016 that the QB was “healthy” and available for all 16 regular season games. That season, he got the closest to hitting the impressive feat with 3,782 yards, and followed that with 3,296 yards in 2017 (in 13 games) and 3,074 in 2018 (in 11 games).
