It happens all the time. You record a show, you start to edit that bad boy and boom, it’s revealed that Eli Manning is “very likely” to start for the New York Giants.
Pat Shurmur's exact wording, in fact, was that Eli Manning is "very likely" to start Monday night in Philly.

That’s what happened when we recorded The QB Scho Show #43, but we called an audible after the fact so all it means is even more analysis about the super exciting New York Giants quarterback room.
The main thing that changes for the Philadelphia Eagles is how quickly the ball will come out against their defense. Daniel Jones was coming in third slowest in the league in time-to-throw, which along with a porous offensive line contributed to him being the most pressured quarterback.
You’ve probably heard the phrase “touchdown-to-checkdown” before and if you’ve watched Manning over the last handful of years you know he’s more of a “checkdown-to-checkdown” quarterback. That means the ball will likely come out quicker and tackling, an area that has plagued the Eagles defense all year, will become all that more important. That’s unless Manning watched Ryan Fitzpatrick against the Eagles and decides to unleash a bevy of weak-armed lollipops.
If Manning goes the checkdown route, the Eagles defense will be tasked with corralling Saquon Barkley in the space. If he goes the bombs away route, rookie speedster Darius Slayton is the guy with the juice and is their most targeted deep threat.
