This game is of massive importance for the Eagles as they look to potentially control their own destiny in the NFC East.
At 2-10, the New York Giants are simply playing for pride at this point. Meanwhile, at 5-7, the Philadelphia Eagles are fighting for their potential playoff lives as they look to close the gap for the NFC East title.
Currently, the Dallas Cowboys lead the NFCE at 6-7 with the Eagles and Cowboys slated to play each other once more.
The Giants will once again start veteran QB Eli Manning as rookie QB Daniel Jones nurses a high-ankle sprain that’ll sideline him for multiple weeks.
The Eagles look to rebound from a terrible loss to the Miami Dolphins and to break a three-game losing streak.
The matchup between these teams poses some minor excitement as the rivals will look to play spoiler for each other, though neither team is good nor exciting at this point in time. Still, the Eagles have a ton riding on this game and should come out firing.
