Jets cornerback Kyron Brown left Sunday’s win over the Miami Dolphins with an injury. The cornerback has been placed on injured reserve. Wide receiver Jeff Smith has been called up from the practice squad to take his place.

Brown stepped into the starting lineup Sunday after the Jets suffered several injuries in their secondary.
It will be interesting to see whether Smith is active for Thursday night’s game against Baltimore. He is very fast. He also played some quarterback in college. In a game where the Jets will be undermanned, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Jets try to manufacture a touch or two or involve Smith in some sort of gadget play.
