Who will be sitting out of Monday night’s big game?
We are about ninety minutes from kickoff in the Pacific Northwest, and the Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks have both released their inactive lists for tonight’s big Monday night match-up. Let’s take a look at who will be sitting this one out.
As always, we start with the visiting team.
Minnesota Vikings
- OT Aviante Collins
- DT Jalyn Holmes (non-injury)
- DT Hercules Mata’afa
- G Dru Samia
- LB Cameron Smith
- WR Adam Thielen (hamstring)
- OT Olisaemeka Udoh
All of the Vikings players that had been listed as questionable (Anthony Harris, Linval Joseph, Harrison Smith, and Shamar Stephen) are active and will step into their starting roles for this one. Adam Thielen is the only starter missing for the Vikings for tonight’s game.
And now, on to the home team.
Seattle Seahawks
- FB Nick Bellore
- DE L.J. Collier
- OL Phil Haynes
- RB C.J. Prosise
- CB Neiko Thorpe
- WR John Ursua
- TE Luke Willson
The Seahawks have been hit by a bit of a flu bug over the past couple of days, and listed several of their players on the injury report with “illness” on Saturday. It appears that pretty much all of them will play, though, as will defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, who has been dealing with a core muscle injury.
Those are your inactive lists, ladies and gentlemen. We’ll have the Open Thread for the first quarter of play up and ready for you at approximately 6:15 PM Central time.
