Bakh makes his second Pro Bowl despite being a three time All-Pro.
Voting is complete for the 2020 Pro Bowl teams (representing the 2019 NFL season), and the Green Bay Packers will have at least a pair or representatives on the NFC squad. Aaron Rodgers and David Bakhtiari were elected to represent the Green and gold in Orlando this January, as the initial teams were announced on Tuesday evening.
For Rodgers, this is his eighth Pro Bowl honor and second in a row. He has made the team in every year since 2009 except for 2010, 2013, and 2017, the latter two years being seasons when he missed significant time due to injury. Oddly, the other non-Pro Bowl season was the year he won Super Bowl XLV's MVP award.
Rodgers continues to avoid interceptions at a historic rate, and his passer rating is back over 100 for the season for the first time since 2016. Still, the Packers' QB has kept most of his efficiency numbers steady from the past few seasons, with an increase in touchdown rate over last year.
Bakhtiari is a two-time second-team All-Pro and was a first-teamer last season, but has only made the Pro Bowl once before, in 2016. This is despite 2018 being arguably his finest season, while 2019 has seemingly been a bit of a step back for him as he adjusts to a new offensive scheme.
The Packers also had two players named as first alternates for this year's roster. Mason Crosby is one, having missed just one field goal attempt all season, placing third in the NFL in field goal percentage. The other alternate is outside linebacker Za'Darius Smith, who sits second on the team with ten sacks. Smith is one of the most effective pass rushers in the NFL, however, ranking among the league leaders in pressure rate.
