Josh Jacobs
It was the rookie’s fifth 100-yard rushing game of the season. He now has 1,061 yards on the season and is the first Raiders rookie to rush for over 1,000 yards even though there are still four games left. Jacobs carried the ball 17 times for 104 yards (6.1 yards per carry).
Mike Mayock struck gold with this selection.
Darren Waller
After a hot start to the season, Waller’s production had dipped in recent weeks. Opposing coordinators are making a concerted effort to eliminate him from the game and this was his first 100-yard game since Week 6. If the Raiders want to remain in the hunt for the playoffs, they need Waller to stay involved.
Waller has 66 receptions for 807 yards thus far. A 1,000 season is not out of the question at this point.
Remaining schedule
If the Raiders do the improbable by running the table and somehow get into the playoffs with a 10-6 record, they will have an advantage based on the upcoming schedule. They will not leave the state of California for the next three weeks.
In Week 14, they welcome the Tennessee Titans to the Coliseum. The Titans are playing good football at the moment, but Derek Carr has had success against them in the past.
Following the Titans matchup, they will host the Jaguars next, followed by what will feel like a home game in Los Angeles versus the Chargers. The final game on the schedule is at Denver.
The combined records of those four teams is 19-29.
