Find out who to root for tonight.
The New England Patriots will leave Week 13 with a 28-22 road loss against the Houston Texans, but tonight’s contest is still a pretty relaxed affair for the team and its fans — and one that could could a considerable impact on the playoff picture in the NFC. But does the game also have some meaning for the Patriots? And who should their fans root for? Let’s find out:
Minnesota Vikings (8-3) at Seattle Seahawks (9-2)
When: 8:15 p.m. ET
Where: CenturyLink Field, Seattle WA
Television: ESPN
Live streaming: fuboTV (sign up here)
SB Nation coverage: Daily Norseman (Vikings), Field Gulls (Seahawks)
Patriots rooting guide: Go good game! While the Patriots own the Seahawks’ seventh-round draft pick next year, a loss will likely not have any impact on the selection’s standings: Seattle is well on its way to make the postseason and could potentially still earn a top-two seed in the conference. Minnesota, meanwhile, is trying to stay in the race for the division title in the NFC North. Tonight’s game should be fun, even though it has no real impact on New England or the AFC playoff picture.
