Brian Flores didn’t have a trick up his sleeve for this hire as he has gone the non-conventional path with recent hirings. Instead, he has brought in veteran offensive line coach, Steve Marshall, who has ties to Chan Gailey. Marshall has spent 40 years coaching up offensive lineman with 10 of those years being in the NFL. He spent time with Gailey during their Jets tenure from 2015-2016.

The Dolphins have gone off the beaten path for a few staffing choices this offseason, but they found a guy with a link to their new offensive coordinator for the latest hire. According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the Dolphins have hired Steve Marshall as their new offensive line coach.
