Greg Olsen could reunite with Ron Rivera in Washington?

Greg Olsen is looking for a new team but maybe not necessarily a new coach. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Monday that the veteran tight end will visit this week with Washington, which recently hired Olsen’s former head coach with the Carolina Panthers, Ron Rivera. Schefter also says that Olsen will visit with the Buffalo Bills, whose general manager, Brandon Beane, also used to work for the Panthers. Rivera was Olsen’s head coach with the Panthers for the last nine seasons but was let go last December and soon agreed to become Washington's coach. Beane, meanwhile, served as director of football operations for Carolina from 2008 to 2014 before being promoted to assistant GM from 2015 to 2016. As for Olsen, 34, he mutually parted ways with the Panthers this week and is taking somewhat of a humorous approach to his free agency. Reuniting with one of his former cohorts would certainly further that theme.
