Report: Browns interested in Pro Bowl OTs Trent Williams, Jason Peters

The Cleveland Browns head into the offseason with a pressing need to protect Baker Mayfield. With Pro Bowl offensive tackles Trent Williams and Jason Peters available, the Browns are reportedly expected to pursue both options. According to Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot, Cleveland is interested in both Williams and Peters and will pursue each of the top tackles this offseason. The Washington Redskins tried to reconcile its relationship with Williams under a new coaching staff. After failing to mend fences, the Redskins informed Williams’ agent that he could seek a trade for his client. The Philadelphia Eagles announced on Thursday that they will let Peters hit the open market and sign with another team. The 38-year-old is a nine-time Pro Bowl selection and a six-time All-Pro tackle. Williams, a seven-time Pro Bowl selection, sat out the 2019 season over a contract and personal dispute with Washington.
