The New York Jets are currently working on a long-term deal with All-Pro safety Jamal Adams. This comes after a drama-filled 2019 campaign in which rumors of a potential trade came to the surface. Now that things have died down on that front, most believe the former top-six pick will remain in Jersey for the 2020 season. Not so fact. According to longtime Cowboys insider Mike Fisher, Dallas is prepared to make another strong play for Adams should he and the Jets fail to come to terms on a long-term deal. This makes sense on a bunch of different fronts. First off, Dallas made a play for Adams during the 2019 season. It was said to be willing to offer up a high-round pick in exchange for the 24-year-old two-time Pro Bowler. We have Dallas going safety with Alabama’s Xavier McKinney in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
