As for last year, Allen puts team struggles on inconsistency more than scheme. Says he's spent the offseason working hard on "getting ahead of the competition."

— Billy G. (@Billy_el_flaco) May 20, 2020
As for the changes in the secondary, Collins said he'll miss Josh Norman and "Dunny," but he's looking forward to the new group. Knows a few of them already, and for the kids he's told them his line is open so ask away.
— Ben Standig (@BenStandig) May 20, 2020
Collins thinks Young's addition along with a defensive line rotation with really help Ryan Kerrigan: "When Ryan has fresh legs, we all know what he can do."

The #Redskins are not exactly deep at TE. Don’t think they’ll be using 12 personnel all that often...at least in 2020. https://t.co/WlfufZFvbQ
— Kennedy Paynter (@Kennedy_Paynter) May 20, 2020
Had this chat with coaching buddy yesterday. Single high safety league. 12 personnel gives you better angles in run game and helps you handle force player with bigger body. Plus, you can play matchups in passing game. It’s going to be popular. https://t.co/rWcbIAWIiA

If the NFL needed to adjust the start date, I've seen the following plan proposed:
— Warren Sharp (@SharpFootball) May 19, 2020
- wk 1 becomes wk 18
- wk 2 game slots into prior bye wk
- wk 3 & 4 are cancelled
Start date shifts back 1 month & season is 14 wks long.
This absolutely benefits some teams more & hurts others.
The Chiefs would no longer have to play in Baltimore on Monday night nor host the Patriots.
— Warren Sharp (@SharpFootball) May 19, 2020
The Redskins would no longer face the Browns & Ravens.
On the other end the Jaguars would lose their two easiest opponents (Bengals & Dolphins).
Arizona would lose the Lions & Panthers. pic.twitter.com/ELgRurpDul
Breaking: A NFL player is suing @United Airlines, alleging that he was sexually assaulted & harassed multiple times by a woman on a recent flight. The lawsuit states United Airlines failed to properly respond during the flight, and failed to cooperate with authorities. pic.twitter.com/oS4DJZlc7V
— Master (@MasterTes) May 20, 2020
The lawsuit claims the woman previously asked the NFL player why he wore a face mask. He said it’s due to the growing COVID-19 concerns. The woman said he looked “frightening” with the mask on.
— Master (@MasterTes) May 20, 2020
The NFL player also claims the woman was intoxicated and taking perscription pills.
The unidentified NFL player and “John Doe 2” are seeking compensatory and punitive damages.

It's looking increasingly unlikely that there will be no season, but if that happens the NFL will have a basis for arguing that players shouldn't receive their base salaries https://t.co/xGHQan8227

Sources: The NCAA Division I Council voted to approve voluntary athletic activities in football, MBB and WBB to start June 1st and go through June 30th. There had been a moratorium on that through May 31st. Other sports will be acted on on a later date.

John Carlson, on @1067theFan, agrees that momentum for an NHL return is growing. It's been "a little bit exciting as an athlete. Just hoping that this thing keeps pushing in that direction to start getting back into the rink and preparing ourselves for a potential camp." #Caps
