Can anyone unseat Kittle for team MVP in 2020?

If so, who is your choice?

NFL.com predicted each team’s MVP for the upcoming 2020 season, and the San Francisco 49ers selection was no surprise. Tight end George Kittle has been the best player on the team the past two seasons, and the network expects that to continue in 2020:

Kittle was a warrior for the 49ers last season. He suffered groin, shoulder, knee, and ankle injuries and still played in 17 of 19 games, including the playoffs. Given that level of bad injury luck, you’d think that Kittle would have suffered a down year statistically, but nope: He went over 1,000 yards receiving for the second straight season with five touchdowns and a career-best 79.4 percent catch percentage. Throw in the stuff that doesn’t show up in a box score — Kittle is one of the league’s best blocking tight ends — and you’re talking about a complete player just now reaching the peak of his powers.

We don’t even talk about the injuries Kittle played through. Generally speaking, most athletes are playing through an insane amount of pain that most people would call off work for.

You’ve been drowned in stats all offseason about Kittle, and there’s nothing new that we can say that you haven’t heard. He’s an amazing football player that is the best at his position and somehow is only entering his fourth season. My question is, who can unseat Kittle for the team MVP this season? Nick Bosa and Jimmy Garoppolo are obvious answers, but are there any dark horses? Deebo Samuel was probably the runner up to those two before we found out he suffered a Jones fracture. I’m not sure how many mentions he’ll get, but if Fred Warner picks up where he left off, he’ll be a turnover and tackling machine. Raheem Mostert would be my pick if the person who called the plays gave the ball to the best running back on the team.

Who is yours, or is Kittle going to be the team MVP once more in 2020?
