Thorsday Open Thread

Good Morning, It’s Thorsday!

Your Thorsday Open Thread is up, running, and ready for business. I’m off service for the next seven days, I’ll be back and forth moderating the two threads I posted. My plans on my seven days off include working off the honey do list, hitting the range to get my scopes sighted back in, and cooking some meat on the grill. Meanwhile we’ll carry on with our news and links full of crockpot recipes, nap strategies and beer recommendations; drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and it’s Thorsday - I was informed this is cultural appropriation, but I’m not smart and still don’t know what that means.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Report by Chris: Ian Rapoport: NFL Salary Cap could drop by $40 million for the 2021 season.

Jim Marshall, Randy Moss among players deemed best in NFL history to wear their numbers.

My poorly titled Fanpost is still going on if you want to discuss current events.
(yes, that’s shameless promotion, no I don’t have any shame)

We come to today’s media selection: AC/DC - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to wash your hands, tip your waiter well and Welcome Aboard!

No Covid 19 discussions.
