From @GMFB: As Washington moves on from RB Derrius Guice after ugly allegations on Friday, their backfield features Adrian Peterson and some question marks. But they don't plan on bringing in more backs as of now. And keep an eye on a now-healthy Bryce Love. pic.twitter.com/Xp715oDjEZ

I gave away two Guice jerseys this past winter to my followers.

I apologize to those who received them
I got the chance to sit down and speak with @AntonioGibson14 last week about a variety of topics last week. Here are some highlights from our conversation.
— Zach Selby (@ZachDSelby) August 10, 2020
There have been a lot of questions about how Gibson will fit in Scott Turner's offense. Gibson sees himself as "just a guy they can use no matter where they need me." He can run, he can catch passes and he even said he could line up at tight end and block if necessary.
— Zach Selby (@ZachDSelby) August 10, 2020
Gibson expounded a little more on working with Peterson, most notably asking questions. Peterson is entering his 14th season, and he's still eager to learn from his coaches.
— Zach Selby (@ZachDSelby) August 10, 2020
Gibson said he has spent most of his time with the running backs during virtual meetings and the acclimation period of training camp. He'll catch a few routes, get the work he needs from the receivers and then continues his work with the RBs.

.@AntonioGibson14 ran a 4.39 at the Combine.
— Zach Selby (@ZachDSelby) August 10, 2020
Last year, @TheTerry_25 ran a 4.35.
So who would win in a race? That's an easy answer for Gibson: "I'm always going with me."
We have to set this up.
Gibson said it has been important to learn how to adjust during an unconventional offseason. It took some time to get used to the virtual meetings at first, but that passed relatively quickly. Gibson said he's used to making quick adjustments, though, so it hasn't been difficult.
— Zach Selby (@ZachDSelby) August 10, 2020
Final thoughts from my talk with Gibson: he sounds eager to help out on offense, no matter what he's doing. He's willing to learn and will make the extra effort to improve himself. I'll have a story going through more of what he said later this week.

You can’t go broke drafting a player who forced a missed tackle on half of his touches➡️Antonio Gibson@AndrewErickson_ ($):https://t.co/ZclhI8vbuL

BREAKING: Fresh details on the charges against Washington football player Derrius Guice:
— justin jouvenal (@jjouvenal) August 10, 2020
--Guice strangled his girlfriend until she was unconscious in his Ashburn home in March, according to charging documents. When she awoke, Guice was crying and tapping her.
1/
3/ Guice's girlfriend told authorities the football player pushed her to the ground in his bedroom bathroom in February, causing an injury to her left thumbnail, according to charging documents. The nail eventually fell off because of a popped blood vessel.

Free agent Logan Ryan views himself as a safety, rather than the cornerback he’s generally listed as. To that end, his agent emailed all 32 GMs these top safety stats and asked them to compare his production. An interesting discussion to be sure as one of the top FAs looms. pic.twitter.com/NZni6BYmND

If college football moves to the spring, what happens to the 2021 NFL Draft, scheduled April 29-May 1 in Cleveland?
— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) August 10, 2020
The collective bargaining agreement says each draft shall be held no later than June 2 … so any delay beyond that would require approval by the players’ union.

A singer who is usually left in open space to perform is NOT allowed on a field where 90+ players will immediately following said performance, push, pull, grab, tackle, and sweat on each other for 3 hours.
