Me: I'm just going to watch this video of Adrian Peterson running the ball against the first-team defense to see if I notice Chase Young.

Special teams period, but noticing Reuben Foster doesn’t have the bulky brace on his knee. Just has it tapped up today.

Earlier in the 1s last drive, Terry caught a pass and ran into the end zone but was down by contact.
— Zach Selby (@ZachDSelby) August 30, 2020
Terry after the play: “that’s a touchdown! I’m breaking that arm tackle!”
Man, today is intense and full of energy. Defense is celebrating after each big play. The offense is quick to the line and has a sense of urgency. Good things to see from both units.

Kind of. Will be Monday at FedEx. No fans, no TV, and will be more like a practice than a scrimmage. https://t.co/khxr7d5olK

Today is the last training camp practice in Ashburn this year. Washington will hold its last camp practice at FedExField tomorrow, then have "normal" practices Wednesday-Friday before roster cuts. The initial 53 has to be set by 4 p.m. ET Saturday.
— Nicki Jhabvala (@NickiJhabvala) August 30, 2020
This is the final day of training camp in Ashburn and I swear there's pretty much a different linebacker pairing each time the starting defense takes the field. It might be the most wide-open competition on the roster.

Jaguars agreed to trade franchise DE Yannick Ngakoue to Minnesota for a second- and conditional fifth-round pick that could go as high a third-round pick, league sources tell ESPN. Ngakoue still has to sign his tender, but trade is in place and Ngakoue is expected to be a Viking.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) August 30, 2020
The #Vikings somehow have room for an elite pass-rusher https://t.co/FZgbpwwW3N
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) August 30, 2020
The Vikings and DE Yannick Ngakoue worked overnight on an adjustment to his franchise tender, landing at a little under $13 million. That's down from $17.778 million. And Minnesota made clear its intention to do a long-term deal in '21.
— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) August 30, 2020
So ... Ngakoue REALLY wanted out of Jax.
Decision to take less money for Ngakoue probably comes down to the fact that he would lose about 1 million a week anyway if he sat out and still may not get traded after 4 weeks.

Gone from 2017 Jaguars, 31 months after that year’s AFC title game ...
— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) August 30, 2020
• DE Yannick Ngakoue
• DE Dante Fowler
• DL Calais Campbell
• DT Marcell Dareus
• LB Paul Posluszny
• LB Telvin Smith
• CB Jalen Ramsey
• CB AJ Bouye
Shelf life for a great defense = Short.
The Jaguars now have four picks in the first two rounds of the 2021 Draft: Their own first- and second-rounders, the Rams' first-rounder and the Vikings' second-rounder. And they had 3 of the Top 42 (CJ Henderson, K'Lavon Chaisson, Laviska Shenault) in April.

Preview of a post for tomorrow on Washington rookie C Keith Ismael. Helps secure a stunting DE before getting out on a screen to block the Mike.
— Mark Bullock (@MarkBullockNFL) August 30, 2020
With likes of Gibson & Sims, screen game will be important for Washington. Ismael’s athleticism to block in space makes him a nice fit pic.twitter.com/EZIYCXenpg
In the NFL, and the world, you have to take. Not give. Dwayne Haskins has been good but far from perfect, but he's taken the QB1 job.
— JP Finlay (@JPFinlayNBCS) August 30, 2020
his good throws are crazy good. touch and power.
— JP Finlay (@JPFinlayNBCS) August 30, 2020
WR Cam Sims seemed to help himself a lot on Sunday. He caught several passes, including a few from Dwayne Haskins. When Haskins worked with the second-team wideouts, Sims was by far his favorite target.

If I had to choose one player at each position who stood out today, here's who I got:
— Kyle Stackpole (@kylefstackpole) August 30, 2020

RB: Gibson
WR: Cam Sims
TE: Thomas
OL: Moses
DL: Payne:
DE: Young
LB: Bostic

#49ers Jordan Reed said he's medically cleared after his seventh concussion kept him out last year in Washington. "It's a big culture change. Everything is upbeat, positive, everybody doing their job to the best their ability and you want to meet that standard. I'm grateful."
— Cam Inman (@CamInman) August 30, 2020
New #49ers TE Jordan Reed said he had considered walking away from football after seven concussions but watching the Super Bowl reignited his passion for the game. Now that he's back: "This is most fun I've had playing football. Ever."

Eagles tested out Matt Pryor at left tackle today and he gave up 3+ sacks to Josh Sweat. Would have to imagine the Eagles get him outta there ASAP before he has to see Chase Young
— Jordan (@washfootbaII) August 31, 2020
imagine this being real:
— Warren Sharp (@SharpFootball) August 30, 2020
Jalen Reagor was injured making a tackle on a Jalen Hurts interception who was playing more because Carson Wentz was resting due to a soft tissue issue.
(also, offensive players tackling defenders returning turnovers is unnecessary) https://t.co/Y4B4svhUJc
At this moment, Eagles are now practicing without their top picks in the last five drafts:
— Zach Berman (@ZBerm) August 30, 2020
Reagor, Dillard, Goedert, Barnett, Wentz.
The Eagles likely won't have their first-round pick, Jalen Reagor, when they face Washington in Week 1, according to @Tim_McManus.https://t.co/plCF9xnAjd
