3 plays here, all in cuts at similar depths from same alignment. 1st play, stutter forces Slay to commit inside, so works outside, won route. 2nd play, tried to go outside again but uses a hop step, doesn’t force Slay to commit. 3rd play, releases inside, uses hand to clear jam pic.twitter.com/R9IjRrhlR4

3 basic cross/overs from tight splits here. 1st - has space inside so takes wide arc release, hard for Slay to get hands on him. 2nd - less room to work with, tries a jab step outside, Slay able to get on him. 3rd - quicker release inside, flashes his hand at Slay to prevent jam pic.twitter.com/Ta7mEnmQoP

highlights from Kendall Fuller's press conference:
— Logan Campbell (@loganncampbelll) August 5, 2020
-focus on learning the in's and out's of the system and secondary positions
-big part of the culture change is about trusting each other
-team is going to hold each other accountable to ensure safety outside of the facility
Kendall Fuller says the vibe is "way different" from his first go-around with Washington.
— Matthew Paras (@Matthew_Paras) August 5, 2020
Fuller said his biggest takeaway from being with the Chiefs was how "the work never stops." There's no hanging around when they're at the facility, Fuller added. It's all about working.
— Kyle Stackpole (@kylefstackpole) August 5, 2020
Kendall Fuller said the decision to play was easier for him because he lives by himself. Doesn't have a wife and kids. Respects other players who have concerns and opt out.

highlights from G Brandon Schreff's press conference:
— Logan Campbell (@loganncampbelll) August 5, 2020
- wants to spend his whole career in Washington
- focusing on small details, learning playbook and taking care of his body
- recommends Busch Light Apple, but still picks regular Busch Light as his go to
Very, very, very true. https://t.co/ByU433nGBy

It will take time for players to get used to a different name. Brandon Scherff said his "end goal is to end up as a Redskin my whole career." Clearly, it's now Washington Football Team. But his sentiment about staying here didn't change. Also says he's not worried about it now.
— John Keim (@john_keim) August 5, 2020
I doubt he regrets anything. he's making 15 mil this year. he's not a big flashy $$ guy and is set for life. has given him freedom to sign a contract when he wants and for what he wants.
— John Keim (@john_keim) August 5, 2020
Scherff did a lot of hunting during quarantine. He took care of his body and he feels refreshed after spending the offseason at his home in Iowa.
— Zach Selby (@ZachDSelby) August 5, 2020
“And in Iowa, that’s pretty easy to do.” https://t.co/Cq5r8hNpPY
— Matthew Paras (@Matthew_Paras) August 5, 2020
Scherff said he's trying to take more care of his body. As a rookie, he said he showed up at 7:30 for an 8 o'clock meeting. Now he'll show up at 6 for a 9 o'clock start.
— Kyle Stackpole (@kylefstackpole) August 5, 2020
Added he's trying to follow the example of Ryan Kerrigan and the other older players.

Should Washington roll with Terry McLaurin, Antonio Gandy-Golden and Steven Sims as the top 3 WRs or look elsewhere for a serious starting caliber WR?

In honor of The Diesel's birthday today please enjoy one of the most devastating blocks I've ever seen on video from a game in 1979 at Detroit. (Poor James Hunter- this is the NFL equivalent of being "dunked on.")

The NCAA just sent a letter to college athletic leaders with specific guidelines about making decisions on fall.
— Nicole Auerbach (@NicoleAuerbach) August 5, 2020
From letter, per source: "The divisions must determine by Aug. 21 whether their respective fall sports seasons and NCAA championships should occur this year."
This is big: All NCAA student-athletes must be provided an opportunity to opt out of participation due to concerns
— Nicole Auerbach (@NicoleAuerbach) August 5, 2020
about contracting COVID-19, and if a student-athlete chooses to opt out, the individual’s scholarship commitment must be honored.
NCAA tells members, per source: "If 50% or more of eligible teams in a particular sport in a division cancel or postpone their fall season, there will be no NCAA fall championship in that sport."
