Fact: Thomas Dimitroff is an amateur radish pickler
Happy Tuesday, Falcoholics! The Falcons are supposed to play their first regular season game in 33 days. That doesn’t seem like a long time, but all kinds of things can (and likely will) go wrong in that time frame. Meanwhile, the NFL will just continue to put one foot in front of the other and see where it gets them. You do you, Roger Goodell.
We put our links in a large pot full of boiling water, then simmer them for 2-3 hours, until they’re tender. Yum.
Dimitroff’s interview with The Athletic
Thomas Dimitroff’s recent interview with The Athletic’s Jeff Schultz was equal parts disappointing and confounding. After so many years with Dimitroff running the front office, his preferred methods for communicating with the press shouldn’t surprise us. But it’s hard to look past his efforts to deflect blame for past missteps.
Go home 2020, you’re drunk
Falcons fans are trying to make the best of a bad situation in 2020. And you have to give this fan base credit, because we’re resilient, and for the most part, we’re still willing to be optimistic about the season ahead. At the same time, it’s becoming increasingly clear that the college football season is probably not happening, which is bound to impact the NFL and, to some degree, the Falcons.
Training camp
Falcons training camp is underway and Eric Robinson told us what to expect.
Kevin Knight’s player profiles are the best. Next up: WR Chris Rowland, a 5’6 UDFA who could fill needs as a returner and gadget player in Dirk Koetter’s offense.
