Could the Browns be looking to sign a former Super Bowl MVP?
According to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, veteran linebacker Malcolm Smith will work out with the Cleveland Browns this week.
The #Browns are having veteran LB Malcolm Smith in for a workout this week, source says. The former Super Bowl MVP was with the #Cowboys late last season.

Smith has been in the NFL since 2011, first making his mark with the Seattle Seahawks, where he was a Super Bowl MVP. After leaving Seattle in 2014, he has had a hard time catching on long-term, bouncing between the Raiders, 49ers, Jaguars, and Cowboys.
Cleveland is in rough shape at the linebacker position, following the knee injury to Mack Wilson. Smith would not necessarily be an upgrade, but he would bring some more experience to the position, even if it’s just for depth purposes.
