Yes, it’s late. Sorry.
As we’ve done every year for. . .well, a really long time now. . .we will have NFL Pick ‘Em and Survival Pools for this season. My apologies for being a bit lax in getting them done, but better late than never, am I right?
So, here’s how it’s going to work.
Tomorrow, 7 September, the post with instructions for how to sign up for the Pick ‘Em Pool will be posted here on the site at 1:00 PM Central time.
That will be followed at 1:30 PM Central time by instructions on how to sign up for the Survival Pool.
Both of these pools will be conducted by Yahoo! Sports, as they have been for several years.
For the Pick ‘Em Pool, we will continue to use “Confidence Points,” which will be explained in the post that accompanies the sign-up link. For the Survival Pool, it will be the same as it ever was. . .one false step and you are officially out for the season.
Keep in mind that the Yahoo! Sports application limits the number of people that can join each pool to 100 players, so if you want to make sure that you get in, make sure you’re here at the times listed above for each pool to pit your wits against your fellow Minnesota Vikings fans.
