Hey, we’re inching ever closer to real Vikings NFL football. I know you aren’t supposed to count your eggs until the blind squirrel finds a nut.........or was it you aren’t supposed to eat blind squirrels before the chicken finds a nut........oh wait, I think it’s blind squirrels can’t count eggs...........that makes sense.........anyway, the point is that I won’t believe the season has started until it’s started, but it’s sure looking like it will. I cannot wait.

Ouch. From FoxSports, it appears that Broncos LB Von Miller has sustained a season-ending ankle injury.
The Giants have waived CB DeAndre Barker, per FoxNews. Barker was one of the Giants’ 2019 first round selections, and although he played in all 16 games last year, and started 15, he didn’t play as well as expected. He had no criminal infractions prior to coming to the NFL, although there were some concerns voiced about his work ethic, but then he had an off-field incident at a party last summer where he is accused of robbing four fellow party-attenders at gun point (whoops), and he wound up on the Commissioner’s Exempt List (we Vikings fans know that list all too well), which means that he could be cleared to play tomorrow, or it may not be until sometime in the late 23rd century. It could also be somewhere in between. It all depends on where Goodell’s spinning wheel of punishment lands.
