Follow along all day for coverage and live commentary before, during, and after the game as the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Detroit Lions in Week 6 of the regular season.
The Jacksonville Jaguars (1-4) will be hosting the Detroit Lions (1-3) in Week 5 of the 2020 NFL season.
Jacksonville will be looking for a bounce back game after four straight losses — and three straight weeks of giving teams their first win. Fortunately for us this week, Detroit has already won a game so that may break the curse on its own.
James Robinson figures to get a lot of work against a bad Detroit run defense and Gardner Minshew will have a lot of free time against a Lions defensive line that is last in the league in sacks, pressures, and knockdowns.
Stay with us all through the day as we live blog the game as it happens, and feel free to join the conversation in the comments as the day progresses. We’ll have postgame coverage as well following the conclusion of the game.
LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

6:30 AM: Competing reports from ESPN and NFL Network on the likelihood of wide receiver D.J. Chark playing today. Let’s hope the earlier reports from Adam Schefter are more in line with what happens today — we all know how the Jaguars offense looks without Chark.
#Jaguars WR D.J. Chark -- listed as questionable (ankle) -- is considered a game-time decision against the #Lions, per source. It doesn't sound as promising for DE/LB Josh Allen (knee), who didn’t practice Friday. But, final call on both players in the morning.

Jaguars’ WR D.J. Chark, listed as questionable for Sunday with an ankle injury, is likely to play against the Lions, but Jacksonville first wants him to test him pregame before making any final decisions, per source.

6:00 AM: Don’t think it affects much for this week’s game, but going forward having almost your entire practice squad out could be... bad.
The #Jaguars are placing 12 of their 16 practice-squad players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, per source.

This is a proximity issue from contact tracing. To this point, only the one player the team announced this morning is known to have tested positive.
