The Kansas City Chiefs already have one of the most potent offenses in the NFL. Led by reigning Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes, an elite set of weapons surrounding him, and some high-end scheme and play-calling to support the players on the field, Kansas City is averaging 28.4 points per game so far this season — eighth in the league —while helping carry the team to a 4-1 record.
Now, the rich have gotten even richer. The Chiefs have signed free agent running back Le’Veon Bell to a one-year contract shortly after his release from the New York Jets became official. Bell confirmed reports himself on social media:

Bell may have had a disappointing stint in New York — he touched the football 333 times for 1,363 yards and four touchdowns in 17 games — but he is one of the most intriguing backs in football based on his six years with the Pittsburgh Steelers. While it remains to be seen whether or not he can reach the same level of play again, the situation in Kansas City is far more favorable for the 28-year old than the one in New York.
