Let’s check in and see how some of the Cowboys future opponents did over the weekend.

After a convincing defeat from the Washington Football Team, the Dallas Cowboys have lost two straight games and sit with a 2-5 record. They are no longer the cream of the crop in the NFC East, which didn’t hold much prestige anyway. While a postseason run isn’t making many wish lists these days, the attention now turns to - just how many games are the Cowboys capable of winning? To get a better idea, let’s take a look to see how the Cowboys future opponents fared this weekend.

Week 8: @ Philadelphia Eagles

Last week: Beat the Giants 22-21, currently 2-4-1

Key game notes:

  • Carson Wentz was 25/43 for 354 yards with two touchdowns and a pick
  • Boston Scott rushed for 46 yards on 12 carries, and added another 46 yards receiving
  • Tight end Richard Rodgers led all receivers with six catches for 85 yards
  • Travis Fulgham caught five passes for 73 yards
