Rams fans had their confidence restored after Monday’s win

Wins will do that.

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged in Rams fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.

Los Angeles Rams fans have been a pretty confident bunch all season long. In fact, watching the fan confidence grow throughout the year has been a fun storyline.

According to SB Nation Reacts surveys — which you should totally sign up for, by the way, they’re quite fun — only 43% of Rams fans had confidence in the direction of the team at the end of the 2019 season. That rose to 54% in free agency, and then all the way up to 74% after the draft.

At the start of the season? 84% confidence.

After Week 1? 97% confidence.

After Week 2? 100% confidence! Hallelujah.

The confidence held high until the rough loss to the San Francisco 49ers, at which point fan confidence dropped down to 84%.

But a Week 7 shellacking of the Chicago Bears restored order, and confidence is back up to 95% going into Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins.

Oh that’s much better.

Speaking of that game against the Dolphins, Rams fans should feel optimistic, assuming they trust the general NFL fanbase to be good and smart (and if you don’t ... again, sign up for Reacts and do your part to increase the smartness).

NFL fans as a whole, when picking Week 8 games, chose the Rams to win.

NFL fans are also hilariously low on Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, which doesn’t relate to the Rams at all except that it’s always fun to laugh at Atlanta sports.
