- Odell Beckham Jr. feels well enough to play Sunday, but needs second negative test (Beacon Journal) - Odell Beckham Jr. will be good to go Sunday, provided the Browns wide receiver continues to test negative for COVID-19.

- Travis Fulgham’s globe-trotting, odds-defying rise to the NFL (ESPN) - Travis Fulgham came late to football because football wasn’t available to him when he was a boy. With both of his parents in the Foreign Service, he spent much of his young life overseas, traversing from Jordan to Egypt to South Africa to India. He played cricket and soccer and basketball and he swam, but it wasn’t until he returned to the United States for high school that he was introduced to football at the age of 16.

With Prescott lost for the rest of the season because of a gut-wrenching ankle injury, it would be dumb not to recalibrate expectations for these Cowboys with Andy Dalton at quarterback.
- Gregg Williams being dragged down by Adam Gase, Joe Douglas as Jets defense sputters (NY Daily News) - Gregg Williams has taken the high road for the better part of two years, praising his players’ production, attitude and effort despite less than desirable circumstances. So, it surely stings that only one team has allowed more points than his unit through five weeks even if he’s smart enough to know that it takes a village to be this poor. He’s fully aware that his overmatched head coach hasn’t held up his end of the bargain for just about their entire tenure together.
- The Packers are keeping calm and letting Aaron Rodgers carry on (The Ringer) - There was skepticism about Green Bay’s prospects in 2020, but we probably should have seen this undefeated Packers team coming.
