Richard Sherman did practice again, however.

For the second day in a row, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel did not practice. It’s unlikely that Samuel suits up against the New Orleans Saints if his only practice takes place on Friday. Kyle Shanahan generally wants his players to have a couple of practices under their belt if they’re going to take the field the following Sunday. Shanahan was on KNBR earlier and said that Samuel is a longshot for Sunday.
Trent Taylor, who sat out of Wednesday’s practice with a back injury, returned on Thursday. The 49ers can ill-afford to have multiple wideouts miss, especially with Kendrick Bourne’s status for Sunday up in the air as he remains on the COVID list. Shanahan said “there’s a chance” Bourne can get back into the building on Friday and play Sunday. “If he can get in, it’ll be a good deal.”
Richard Sherman practiced for the second day in a row.
River Cracraft is the only change from Wednesday’s practice. He sat out with a quad injury. Cracraft suffered a contusion during Wednesday’s practice and will be a game-time decision, per Shanahan.
Did not participate:

WR River Cracraft (quadricep)
CB K’Waun Williams (ankle)
